The Scientific Anglers Skagit Intermediate is the ultimate Skagit line featuring a redesigned taper that transfers power smoothly from the rod tip through the sink tip.  Scientific Anglers has designed the tip diameter of these heads to cover a broad spectrum of sink tip lengths and weights. No matter what you attach to the end, this line will deliver it accurately with authority. The intermediate sink rate allows the line to penetrate the faster surface currents and stick in the slower subsurface current creating a tantalizingly slow swing to entice even the most lethargic steelhead.
