The Echo Trout rod is the answer to the all purpose do everything trout tool. This rod is well-suited to cast flies and lines of various sizes and densities in that “sweet spot” distance of 30-50 feet. All the rods have a fast action with subtle adjustments in the tip section depending on the model. The lighter rods (4 and 5 wt.) have an ultra-sensitive tip that presents the fly delicately and can protect super light tippet. The bigger rods (6 wt.) have a beefed up tip section to handle big weighted streamers and heavy nymphing rigs with ease. On top of all the fantastic design features the rod is uber light in hand and on the old pocket book.
